Comparison platform — not a lender

Who we are, and what we do

  • Free for borrowers, with no impact on your credit score to compare
  • Paid by lenders when a comparison leads to a disbursed loan

We are not

  • A bank, NBFC, or direct lender — we never disburse funds ourselves
  • Involved in the credit decision — every approval is made by the lender
  • Able to guarantee approval or a specific rate — offers depend on your profile
Why we exist

Loan shopping in India used to mean 10 separate applications

Every bank has its own form, its own eligibility rules, and its own rate — and applying to several at once used to hurt your credit score. SafeBorrow replaces that with one form, one soft check, and a ranked list of real offers from our lending partners, so the comparison work happens once, not ten times.

Who we serve

SafeBorrow runs three connected programs — pick the one that's you

Borrowers

Anyone comparing personal loans — salaried, self-employed, students, first-time borrowers, and NRIs. Compare offers from 50+ banks and NBFCs and apply for free.

Check my offers

DSA Agents

Individual referral partners — financial advisors, insurance agents, and freelancers — who earn commission by referring borrowers to lenders through SafeBorrow.

Explore the DSA Agent Program

Lender Partners

Banks and NBFCs that list their loan products on SafeBorrow and manage incoming leads through a dedicated Lender Partner Portal.

Lender Partner Portal

Note: "Partner" means different things depending on the program — DSA Agents are individual referral partners, while Lender Partners are the banks and NBFCs whose offers we compare. Each has its own dedicated portal, linked above.

Who SafeBorrow is built for

Concrete profile, not "everyone" — so you can tell in one look if this is a fit

Primary profile

Salaried professionals in India, earning ₹20,000–₹1,00,000/month, with a CIBIL score of 650+, borrowing ₹1,00,000–₹10,00,000 for a specific need — medical expense, wedding, home renovation, education, or debt consolidation.

Also served, via specific partner lenders

First-time / no credit history

Students and first-jobbers, ₹8,000+/month, matched to lenders like mPokket and Avail Finance.

Self-employed & small business

Flexible income proof (bank statements, GST, ITR), matched to NBFCs like Cholamandalam, Shriram Finance, and IIFL.

NRIs

Overseas-salaried Indians, matched to NRI-specific programs at HDFC, ICICI, and Axis, disbursed to an NRO account.

Lower CIBIL (600–650)

Matched to fintech lenders that use alternative data, such as MoneyView, KreditBee, and PaySense.

Not a fit for: borrowers whose primary need is a secured loan (home/mortgage or auto loan) — SafeBorrow compares unsecured personal loans; secured products are limited to the gold-loan cross-sell during application. SafeBorrow operates in India only.

Why SafeBorrow, not just any rate table

What's underneath the comparison, concretely

Approval Probability Score

Every offer is scored by combining how well your profile matches the lender's criteria with that lender's real historical approval rate — not just its interest rate.

Loan Readiness Score & Sweetspot Finder

Shows the loan amount and tenure most likely to get approved before you submit an application, instead of finding out after a hard credit inquiry.

Rate Drop Alerts & Rate Lock

Tracks live lender rates and notifies you the moment one drops to your target, so timing an application isn't guesswork.

Credit Builder Loan

A path to a first loan and a CIBIL score built from zero (to 700+ in 12 months), for applicants most comparison sites simply turn away.

Named, credentialed advisors

CIBIL, EMI, and NRI questions are answered by named advisors with stated credentials (ex-bank credit head, CFP, RBI-licensed advisor) — not unattributed generic articles.

RBI Registered Partners

Every lender we list is RBI licensed

Free for Borrowers

We're paid by lenders, never by you

Bank-grade encryption on all data

Classification FAQ

SafeBorrow is a fintech company in the loan comparison marketplace (aggregator) category, operating in India and focused on personal loans.

No. SafeBorrow is not a bank, NBFC, or direct lender. It compares and matches offers from 50+ partner lenders; every credit decision and fund disbursal is made by the named lender, not by SafeBorrow.

SafeBorrow is free for borrowers to use. It earns a commission from the lender only when a comparison leads to a disbursed loan.

Three distinct audiences: borrowers comparing personal loans (consumer-facing), individual DSA agents who earn referral commission (business-to-business), and bank or NBFC lender partners who manage incoming leads through a dedicated portal (business-to-business).

A DSA Agent is an individual who earns commission referring borrowers, through the DSA Agent Program. A Lender Partner is a bank or NBFC managing incoming leads through the Lender Partner Portal. The two are unrelated despite both involving the word 'partner.'

SafeBorrow's primary product is personal loan comparison across 50 partner lenders. During the application flow it also offers a single gold-loan cross-sell option and a loan-protection insurance add-on, but neither of these is compared across multiple providers the way personal loans are — they are single-offer add-ons, not a second marketplace.
